Re: lets try again
Have you hooked your printer up to all the usb ports to make sure it prints from each? I would do something like that to make sure that they in fact are working. I would also try using the printer usb cord instead of the cricut cord to see if that makes a difference.

Re: Font Shadowing
If you mean that the shadow isn't giving the letter enough space, I separate the letters just a little bit before I apply the shadow. Some fonts work well doing this but others do not. I can't remember about SCAL1 but SCAL2 has a button that allows you to stretch out the space between the letters.

Re: Card making question
I use just a lttle bit of Zip Dry glue. I like the zip dry if i am gluing down large items such as mats. If it is a light weight piece, I use Zig two way glue pens.(I have several different sized pens)

Re: Anamorphism and 0,0 point errors in SCAL
I asked a question a few days ago about the size issue. I was trying to make a double mat for a Christmas card and was using the rectangle shape. When I would put the length and width into the program and cut, it was a bit shorter on the one side. I should have been able to input the dimensions and ...

I have opened saved svg files from myscrapchick.com and those files open HUGE! My svg files from other sites seem to open at a reasonable size. My own scut files that I have saved open up at the correct size but i can't delete them when they are on the mat. In order to get rid of my own scut files,I...

Re: New updates for SCAL2.
Thank you for the suggestion - I changed it and when I imported an SVG file, it again came in at 545 inches tall! Whew. I was able to import normal sized SVGs before the update. Am I the only one having this problem?

Re: How do you keep your svg files organized?
I started keeping mine in folders named from the site from which they were downloaded. I also try to save a picture of the svg for reference. I have a huge folder from myscrapchicks and folders within that folder. That site has quite a few really cute sets and I keep the sets together in folders.
