Only 1 Font!!!

I purchased my SCAL2 add on and it is there and working but I can only get Arial font. The drop down list in properties only shows this one. When I try to change it from Text and then font, (where all the fonts are showing up) I click on the one I want and nothing changes. I still only have Arial. It blinks on the actual font sample set but then stays with Arial. Any help or suggestions???? TIA.
