Re: Preview of .svg files.........
So does this mean that Todd can find a way for SCAL to open files for the WB and all those other cutters?? The problem is he has to be able to know what format those files are laid out in, the other companies probably don't freely give out that info, anything CAN be done, IF you have the knowledge ...
Re: Bear Kiss
I am new to this. How do I get this to work. When I save it, it saves as an explorer page and the scal can't read it. I can't seem to save it as a .svg all on it's own. Do I have to open it in another program in order to save it? HELP! Thanks, Jen reelcrafts@comcast.net click the "Bear Kiss.sv...

Re: Preview of .svg files.........
As a programmer Todd can make SCAL do anything he wants, I program for Linux and Windows, if he was so inclined he could make it play music, show the current weather, beep annoyingly every 10 minutes, the comment "I don't think SCAL can do ???? needs to be wiped out of your minds, it's just a m...
Re: Bear Kiss
I am probably not understanding what you mean exactly. But the svg file has the colors separated and grouped together already as it shows in the 2nd jpg. From what I gather from the ladies on this group they are putting colored pieces of papers aligning them with the grid on the mat with the grid on...

Re: filing your (break apart) svg's
what I am doing for my DW is color the svg before I break it apart in inkscape then save the file as a png/jpeg with the same name different extension, then she can bring up any picture viewer to see what it looks like and when she finds the one she likes she just grabs the same filename with the .s...
Snowgirl
here is a Snowgirl that I fixed up for my wife. It is set up to be cut and layered, I moved everything as tightly together as I dare to save on wasted paper since you can't tell SCAL not to cut out something. Even though I cut the base out of black I did a layer for the hat, nose, and buttons so the...
