filing your (break apart) svg's

I save mine pieced together, not with pieces separated. all I have to do is move them around.

I also color mine in & that helps. I don't think much about the colors until I acutally cut them. doesn't matter what color they are in the file as it's just for reference for me.

what I am doing for my DW is color the svg before I break it apart in inkscape then save the file as a png/jpeg with the same name different extension, then she can bring up any picture viewer to see what it looks like and when she finds the one she likes she just grabs the same filename with the .svg extension.

you can see what I mean if you go to the svg section of the forums and look at "Snowgirl"
