Has anyone made a pop-up ball?
I love that new Sizzix pop-up ball die, but, of course, I don't want to buy one and was wondering if anyone had made one in SCAL yet?
Re: CAD files
Check the file types you can save as. I know that AutoCad will save or export or something out to a PDF file, and you could pull that into Inkscape and convert it to an SVG.

Re: How would you cut this?
That's how the Disney cricut cartridges do it, so I would suggest that as a strategy. It works pretty well. Although, the top part of Sponge Bob doesn't look like it has any lining around it, so it might fit pretty snuggly.

Re: Packaging ideas
There's a great boxes font here http://www.scentials.com/Cricut.htm that does all kinds of boxes and the like. So you could cut it out on the cricuit with SCAL.
