Re: SCAL keeps shutting down
I noticed that the svg file has a Group in it. SCAL1 usually doesn't like Object/Group. You might try opening it in Inkscape and ungrouping it. Some other things to try are using Path/Union after you Ungroup or copy/pasting the artwork into a new file (possibly using the Path/Union after you paste)...

Re: SCAL keeps shutting down
It seems to be just these two files. I have avoided upgrading because I can't risk losing the communication between my E and SCAL. Just really frustrated cos I've had this issue before with other files and could fix it, neither of these files will work.

Re: SCAL keeps shutting down
Oh, and I have shut down my computer and re-booted it, just in case. It didn't work either. Neither did shutting down my E and trying again nor shutting down SCAL. Forgot to mention that.

SCAL keeps shutting down
I have used the two attached files numerous times on my E, cut through SCAL1. But today, I cannot get either file to work. I have tried adjusting the one in Inkscape and resaving as a plain SVG (which has worked before with other files), but it is not working today. When I try to cut, I get the erro...

Need some help on conversion
I have the following image that I have tried to clean up in Inkscape, but I cannot get the arrows aligned correctly. So, if anyone can help with the conversion from .jpg to and .svg, I'd be very appreciative.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Rhinestone Application

Also, where are you getting your hotfix rhinestones from? It's almost impossible to find quality glass stones...

Re: Rhinestone Feature
Or, if you have SCAL1, you can use Inkscape to create templates. These two videos are great tutorials!

Re: Stamp Like files?
I get a lot of my sentiment stamps here: http://www.crackerboxrubberstamps.com/ and their blog: http://crackerboxpalacestamping.blogspot.com/ I have ordered from them several times and always gotten outstanding service and products. They have a pretty good selection of 'silly' stamps and the prices ...
