Help with SVG

Post by bamaus »

Every time I create my own SVG from an image and then pull it into SCAL, the cricut cuts it out twice and it looks terrible. I can't see any double lines in either Inkscape or SCAL. I've attached a simple svg I created for a grad card. Would some one be willing to take a quick look and let me know what I'm either doing or not doing? Thank you so much in advance.

You had the usual double lines from tracing.

Open it in Ink
Select your iimage
From the menu, Path/break apart
View in outline mode (View/Display mode/Outline)
Delete one line

Thank you so much! I am going to try that with mine at home but in case it doesn't work I downloaded yours.

It cut double on mine too. I can see a second line. Heather's advice is correct.
