Re: separating the colors to cut
[quote="rcb1138. . . I "think" only pro has the layer feature, right? . . . [/quote] No, that is not correct. The regular SCAL utilizes layers and you can place different items on layers by "color" if you want to. What the PRO version does (I believe but not positive as I ha...

Re: No calibration option = unuseable program! SCAL4

Sorry!. . . @spearcarrier - Just an FYI, you have to tell the forum to notify you when there is a reply to your post. For example, here while I am adding...

Re: Sure cuts alot pro 4
Yes, there are differences between SCAL 4 and SCAL4 Pro. However, I cannot list them all for you as I have not upgraded to the Pro versions. I do know that SCAL 4 Pro will let you "Cut by Color" - although you could do similar in SCAL 4 simply by putting separate colors on layers together ...

Re: Which software to purchase
Welcome. Everybody has their favorite software. Often, its the one we used and learned first or the one that works more like our Brain works. Users on each forum are going to give you the nod toward that program most often as that tends to be their program of choice (which is why they are on that fo...

Re: SCAL SVG files not same size in Make the Cut
The bigger question may be what version of MTC is your friend using? Re: file back ups
call me paranoid but I backup my files on cd's and an external hard drive. External hard drives can crash just like your computer. I have always thought the same thing, I just hope that my computer doesn't crash at the same time as my memory stick. For my pictures that I take, I print a copy, scrap...
