Thanks Heather. I think I did use break apart. But i usually only use that when ungroup is unavailable. I'll redesign a new one and check on that.

I am trying to make a design to cut - when I design it, it looks great. When I preview it, the insides of certain letters and numbers disappear as cutting lines. I can't think of a way that you could resuse that vinyl is you reset your machine. Sorry! Maybe a more seasoned user might help you, though.
