Vinyl Users...transfer tape question...
Vinyl Users...transfer tape question...
Can anyone please tell me how long I can leave the transfer tape on top of my design with the backing in place? I am making "In Memory Of" vinyl car window clings for many friends of a young man who passed away. I am not sure how long it will take me to distribute them and I'm concerned that the vinyl will be stuck to the transfer tape when they try to apply it to their windows. I am using white Oracal 651 and R Tape Clear Choice from H&H. Thanks to anyone who has this info!

You might want to double check with your vendor, but I think the clear choice is ok for a pretty good while.

Re: Vinyl Users...transfer tape question...
I've had some Clear choice on decals since last November and they are doing fine. Would you mind sharing how you're doing your clings? Are you using the vinyl cling and putting vinyl on it? If so, how?

Thanks, everyone. Seems like a consensus that I'll be OK with the transfer tape on for a while.
To Balletcostume Mom: I an actually not using cling material - guess that was misleading. I am using the Oracal 651 which was recommended on this board for window and outdoor use. It has a sticky back that sticks to the car window. it is labeled intermediate tack so I think it's only good for glass and painted surfaces. not indoor household use on walls. I designed the decal in SCAL and am cutting probably a hundred or more by the time I am done. A sad occasion but I am glad to be doing some small things for the kids (including my daughter) who lost such a young friend.
