I'm just getting into SCAl and wondering if I need Inkscape. What would be the pros/cons of it? I'm wondering if I would need it for this project....I'd like a .svg of the file I attached. I'd like to make a vinyl of it....can anyone help me out?

Laura,
The file that you posted is a low resolution file. Do you have a digital camera so that you can take a picture of the logo from a book or something and post that?

Hi Laura! I'm guessing you are from Cedar Rapids?! I grew up around that area but now live in western Iowa. Nice to see some fellow Iowans on here 
I was trying to find another useful image online but was unsuccessful. That logo is tricky because of the 2 colors. But it is definitely posssible to do if there is a clearer/larger image to use!
