SCAL (again)

Where will I get Scal from I noticed that some people have managed to download a free trial and I think I'd like to try it,even though i'm still struggling with inkscape lol

OMG how dim am I !!!!! SCAL= sure cuts a lot derh I've already bought it and had a play not had too much success but hey ho I'll get there.

You do not need inkscape to run SCAL. With SCAL you can cut and TTF font or dingbat...You only need inkscape to make your own svg files...Learn how to use SCAL first then when your comfortable go play with inkscape...That way you won't get overwhelmed.

What stuff have you made already. What can you do without inkscape and what can do with it. Can you show meI'm thinking of getting it . Thank you V

Inkscape is a great program and you do not need it to use SCAL. It is a vector-based editor (not bitmap editor like the programs for editing photos) which will edit line drawings. With it, you can create anything to cut in SCAL. Yes, it has a learning curve but I find it to be well worth the effort...it allows me to actually "cut what I want."

here's a link to some things I've made using Inkscape. You can't make these in SCAL alone.
