I would as long as they were paper piecing types so you could piece the items together nicely in colors :_)
Lots of cute, paper piecing files on my blog - all free!

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the group and to SCAL. I bought my Cricut about two weeks ago and I'm really learning a lot about SVG files from reading the posts here and on all the wonderful blogs.

One of the first things I did when I installed the SCAL software on my computer was take a Dustin Pike Digi stamp of an owl and converted it to a SCAL cutting file. It turned out very cute but I haven't been able to figure out how to make the blackout type background to glue all the pieces to.

And yes, I would buy cut files of Dustin's critters. (I bought a bunch of his digi stamps and love coloring them.)

If you traced the stamp, the outermost piece is the base. See my post here for more on this.
If you used the paint bucket technique, you can select all of the pieces while they are still in the original positions, use Control D (Duplicate in place), then Control K (Path/Combine). Now use Control J (Dynamic offset) followed by pressing the end key to send the offset to the rear. A small white square appeared after the Control J. Now you click on this and pull it away from your image. When you like the look of it, use Path/Object to path. Now you can move, layer, or group (SCAL2 only) your pieces for cutting.

After saying that, it might be easier to trace the stamp, use Path/Break apart, and just delete all of the inside pieces. HTH
