Am I the only one?

Post by nik_9011 »

Ever since I got SCAL2 my shadow function has been messed up. I do have the most recent version of SCAL2 and it still messes up. If I shadow a triangle for example, the shadow ends up being a totally different shape than a triangle. I also tried to shadow a big F and the shadow didn't match up with my original F AT ALL. Any suggestions?

yeah, I just tried it... how YUCKY!!!

The only thing I can think of... is: I think the shadowing works in SCAL 1, doesn't it? Mabey you --- WE will just have to use version 1 until they get that fixed???

It doesn't really work, to try and just make your shadow letter bigger...

My shadow function is fine. WHat font are you using - maybe it is the font?

when I tried it on a basic shape... like she said... a triangle, I got a hexagon not a triangle... and I didn't 'pick' a font, I just used the one that was ready... the shadow was not even close....

I haven't tried to play with all of them...

Yes, it's happening to me too. It seems to have trouble with the angles or "points" of the design.

I didn't have trouble with shadow, but I used blackout on a skull & crossbones, & it didn't work. The skull disappeared & the crossbones remained the same. We'll just have to wait until they work out the kinks.

Ahh, now I feel better, every time I try to shadow something the shape disappears
