Wondering if anyone has seen any free SVG files for those cute Paper Pieced bears that seem to be popular now?

Yes I tried a search and found one bear tha is sitting down but it's not really like the paper pieced ones.

Ok, sorry. If you find one you like in a jpg format if you could post it then someone can help you get it into a cut file.

this is the link to the MOST FAMOUS tutorial on paper piecing there is. It uses a teddy bear as the lesson. This may be what you want.
