Ok, I've been "just learning" for a month or more and that is way more than I can do lol, thank you so much for sharing. I can get the whole object traced, but how do you get the little details separate when you trace them? I'm not sure what to do after I trace the little guys?

This is the jpg. that I started with.

To get the little parts separated in Inkscape click on the picture and then click on Path, and then click on break apart and everything that can be separated will have a square around it. Next thing I do is click off the picture again, and then click on the individual pieces and move them.

I'll try and post the finished cut out, right now it is saying my file is to big.

I've done what you describe before but when I import, the pieces aren't to scale. What step am I missing?
