I need major help! I created two files in inkscape for my daughter's softball team window decals. When I import them to scal, they are distorted, they do not look as they do when I created them in inkscape! What am I doing wrong???

I have attached a screen shot of what they look like in SCAL and the original svg file. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can look at this and guess that something is grouped. For some unknown reason, SCAL doesn't like groups and protests by strewing them about when they get imported. Click on each item in Inkscape and make sure it says path at the bottom info line. If it says group, choose object>ungroup until it says path. Then save it and try import again. In the future, if you need to "group" things, use "combine" (under path) instead.

Yes, I just opened your file in inkscape and you do need to ungroup the three objects, then you need to select your image and ungroup it...after I did those two ungroups it opened fine in scal...hope that works for you!
