There have been basketballs posted in the past. Do a search for basket ball. Jancy posted a really nice one some time ago that you would find in a search.

I am so use to using Inkscape for all of my .svg's that I don't really know how to use SCAL to manipulate files. I need to make this basketball smaller... but it is in 2 parts in SCAL... I also need to cut out a circle the same size as this so that I can have a lighter color show through the dividing lines... Can anyone help me or point me to a .svg rather than an .scut file?

I am assuming the 2 parts are the circle and the lines. Drag the proportional resizing box at the lower right and drag the circle to the size you want. Do the same thing with the lines part. You will have to eyeball this but you can use the nice screen shot Prof. L. has given you for reference as to the relative size and position. Now either copy the circle and paste it, then drag to make it a little smaller or draw a new circle the desired size with the circle in the basic shapes library. Drag these 3 shapes to different parts of the mat and place the different colors of card stock on the mat to cut accordingly.
