Image Placement using Cartridges

Is there someway to preview how Eclips will place images on the mat when using cartridges? I want to cut an image in 'pieces' and use different colored paper for the parts but can't tell where on the mat each will cut so I don't know how to place the paper. Any advice would be appreciated.

It sounds like you could use a video to watch, and I am just not sure where to direct you to. Perhaps the sizzix site has video how to's available, or I believe svgcuts had done some.

might be worth looking on the tube of U for print and cut using ecal (eclips)

I would guess it would be a very similar process
