For background I'm coming from SCAL 1 to eCal.
In SCAL the font and shape windows were nice and small, and on the side everytime I opened it. The 'mat' was big and took up 3/4 of the screen. I liked that.
In eCal, the font and shape take up the entire bottom 1/3 of the screen, and the mat gets 2/3 top to bottom, and 2/3 right to left.
Is there a way to make eCal remember my preference on where the windows are? Or at least the size that they open at? I dislike having to readjust the windows everytime I open it.

Re: Window Placement
Hi, take a look at the "Help" within eCAL and look for workspace. You'll find a brief description on the workspace and this
Hope this helps.
Set up your workspace as you want it and under advanced you can save it. I think you need to restart the program to be sure. You create and manipulate your designs using the various windows in eCAL, including the Virtual Cutting Mat, the Tools window, the Toolbar, the Properties
Window, the Shape Library, and the Font Table. You can arrange, resize, or remove any of these as you like. Any particular arrangement of these windows is called
a workspace. eCAL has two predefined workspaces (Basic and Advanced) which you can choose from the Window -> Workspace menu. You also have the option
to save your own custom workspace.
Below is a screen shot of the "Advanced" workspace. The "Basic" workspace is the same, but has the "Layers" panel hidden.
Hope this helps.

Re: Window Placement
Thanks so much! That worked. I was not smart enough to realize that all those pieces meant the workspace. Whoops!papasue wrote:Hi, take a look at the "Help" within eCAL and look for workspace. You'll find a brief description on the workspace and this
