What machine will you buy now?

I'm feeling lost at the moment. I'm in South Africa, and the machines you a mentioning for use with Scal 3 is unknown to me. Can you please tell me what machine you will buy if you can buy one today and also why you'll choose that one.

My pick is the Ecraft only because I've been waiting to see this machine in action. I like the fact it doesn't use a matte. I do vinyl cutting so it would make it convenient to be able to feed the vinyl from the top and just have it cut off the roll. I have heard good things about the Gazelle and more recently the Black Cat Cougar/Lynx. The Cougar from what I understand is larger format so it takes bigger pieces. Also it looks very durable. All machines listed have allowed 3rd parties to connect to them and don't require cartridges to work.

Definitely the Ecraft. I went on each machine's websites, compared, and I like the style, compatibility, versatility, support and price. Priced much less than some of the others.

At a recent retreat they had a Silhouette there and I used it and was not impressed. Maybe I didn't have enough time into it but it didn't do it for me.

Since you are in South Africa I would try the Black Cat Cougar or Lynx. Look into the Gazelle. Both cutter's will ship directly to South Africa if you do not have a distributor. I swear last year I saw a blog where a lady in South African was using a Black Cat Cougar. Gazelle will ship internationally. I live in the next major town over from them and they have excellent customer service. I hope that helps.
