I currrently have the cricut baby and am thinking of upgrading to the expression (this is where the help comes in)
I think I read it somewhere that the version of scal I have will only work with the baby is this right? Will I have to buy scal again when I get the expression? I really love scal.

As long as you don't update DSS, you will be able to upgreade the firmware on your brand new CE. SCAL will work fine with the C and the CE. However, the CC is not compatible because it will work with the last PC DSS update.
