need help with design for t-ball team
My DGS, 3 years old, started t-ball today and their team name is Super Heros, so I'd like to make some water bottles for the team members with something I can cut from vinyl (thought about the shield with their initial in the center). Can anyone direct me to the place to find something like this? I have a cricut but and DS and can't decide whether to get Make the Cut or Sure Cuts A Lot, I am not a designer - just a dreamer. I can see rhinestone designs for Mom's and of course me (Gran) with a ball like I've seen "Baseball Mom" etc. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks, Beverly

I am not sure about the designs if you don't have SCAL or MTC. I will tell you though that I started with my Cricut and DS and was not doing much with them. I have since got the Gypsy and dont use it very much either. Once I bought SCAL2 I started using my Cricut alot. I am not good at design but I am able to do lots of things with SCAL. There are a lot of designs out there that people are willing to share and you can purchase designs at very reasonable prices. Once I get those designs I can manipulate them to make what I really want. The software allows you so many possibillities. I have not worked with MTC but I know a lot of people think it is fantastic.

Thanks for your response. I have been trying to decide whether to purchase the MTC or the Sure Cuts A Lot, but with the recent lawsuit on MTC just not sure what I need to do - can't afford to purchase software that will not allow me to cut on my cricut. BB

I know. I have had mine for quite a while now so if it quits working I have certainly gotten my moneys worth. I will probably find another machine that it will work with because it is just so much better than anything offered by Cricut. I have a Gypsy too and SCAL2 is so much better.

I finally got SCAL 2 - now to try to learn to use it. I've looked at lots of you tube files - guess i just need to play with it and maybe it will click. I did try to import a jpeg and trace it but there are things in the picture that I really don't want to cut (just want part of the pic to cut) so trying to learn how to delete the parts I don't need. Can't wait to make something. Thanks for your help.BB
