I Learned HOW !!! I am so pumped.

Post by TheresaTT »

I learned how to print and cut. I am so excited. It is so fun to learn something new. I have struggled for weeks with this.
Heres the blog i watched the video on:
http://paperpastime.blogspot.com/
after you get to the page, go all the way to the bottom and choose older posts and go to the lower half of that page and watch the tutorial. WWOOOHHHOOOO. :) :D :) :D :D

Also Leslie : http://cardmkrleslie.blogspot.com/ had done a chat with these instructions and gives you a printout and graphics to try with. Leslie's site is linked in Denises site from the link above.

I am so excited.
Gotta go play. But had to tell someone who understood my excitement first. !!!! BYE !!!!!!!

Thanks so much, Theresa! I had watched that video a couple of times. It's so easy to follow. But I couldn't find the written instructions, and I need written instructions. Now I have them thanks to you.....

Good going...your excitement is well understood here. Only did one print and cut so far and will try some more. Thank you for taking the time to post the link.

Congratulations Theresa! I still haven't tried it. I think I'm too stingy with my ink.

Well, i think the small stuff that i will use it on is small phrases and such. I still tried cutting around garfield last nite and it still was off. I guess i need to sit and do the calibration thingy if i want that kind of accuracy. I started that but was getting nowhere so gave up on it.

I'm not sure that my ink is any less expensive than my cardstock these days. Especially if I think I'll ruin a complex piece trying to piece it. I'm terrible at faces, and always hate how they turn out!

I'm with you on the ink. I go through so much ink just printing pictures. I usually order a full set of my pictures from an online source, but when I scrapbook the events, I like to print my pics at home so I can manipulate the size, filter exposure etc. Costs a fortune!

I don't think I'm using that much ink for what I'm doing with it...mainly cutting outlines for stamps, journaling templates. Today, I went back to a lot of my Ali Edwards journaling templates and handwritten words to make journaling cards for a Becky Higgins Style scrapbook like the "Project Life" ones. I think I'll like my own colors better than the prefab ones sold.
