Those are very cool. Did you every wonder who thought this up? Seriously, did somebody sit down one day and think to themselves, I'm going to fold some paper and make a really cool flower.

Ahh, no, the origami purist would figure out how to make this out of one uncut sheet of paper! This is five pieces glued together. My husband thinks I should make some of the other origami flowers I've done in the past and create a bouquet...so we'll see. I love the iris so I may fold one later today and see if I like it with these. I just love the look of these flowers though!

Very pretty laura. I bet those would look lovely in pastels as well..

I know...that's why I had to share them even though they aren't a 'scal project" although I was tempted to post a square svg to make it look legit!
