Scal 2.030

Post by fayscrapper »

Went to download scal and the version was 2.030 compared to what I been reading on this board 2.011. What should I do? Thanks.

I'm using version 2.012 and I haven't updated because I heard there have been some problems with the updates. My version works OK except for the occasional freeze. I, too, would be interested in what everyone else is doing.

I cut with an old version, because I just like it, and it is my registered version. But, I design with SCAL 2.30 and love it!! I export the files and save as .scuts to cut with older version. I went through some problems some time back, when my computer was giving me problems...turns out the problems were unrelated to SCAL, but I switched back and forth and went through many communications with support not knowing what was going on, and then my computer crashed completely and when I got it fixed I just left it the way the computer guys fixed it and have not changed anything.
It is easy enough to do the way I do it, and I personally just like having .scut files, and I don't like saving as .svg.s for some reason, and I have my own system of indexing with my own photos, so I don't care for making new libraries(however, I did just go through the tutorial for 2.30 Library and personal file system Lib it Up, and it is very good). But to answer your question...SCAL 2.30 is AWESOME!!!
