I need some help on making something for my son-in-law. He works in commercial banking. I was thinking of a glass pencil holder, etc and try my hand at etching. I am making a clock for my son out of ceramic tile and vinyl, coasters for my other son-in-law. Could use some ideas for the girls too.
Do you know where I could get desk items to etch?
Any ideas would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Why not make him a clock as well and just replace the numbers with dollar signs >>.
and then put the company he works for in the center..

Maybe etch frames for the girls or mirrors? Dollar stores and Cost Plus World Market are good places to look for glass.

I always get my etchable items at the dollar tree. They have a great selection and if I mess it up it was only a dollar so I always buy extras. This year I purchased cute glass jars to make candy jars out of and they have turned out pretty good so far.
