I made my own SuperGirl logo for a friend for Halloween. I am having a really hard time getting the S and the G to weld with the outer shield. When it cuts, it just cuts the outer shield. I watched the tutorial, and I still can't figure it out, and I am very familiar with this program.
Can anyone help? Please???
Thanks in Advance!!!!

Re: So FRUSTRATED with Welding
To weld something to the inside, you need to make a frame first. Ungroup your file, then select both parts of the shield and use Path/Exclude. Then you can weld your letters inside the shield. I have more on the SCAL2 Path operations here.
