THANK YOU Weld card

Good Evening All,

I have just cut this card that I designed earlier, prompted by Papasue who wanted a Thank You card. It works really well on duo card stock. It scans well and if you measure the fold so that you can easily read both words when you stand it up the shadow of the top section will cast next to the second word, if that makes any sense. Anyway, I hope you like this one.

I would appreciate any feedback good or bad....maybe not too bad...this girl's ego is a little fragile at times...lol

This is fantastic. I don't really have need for a thank you card right now, but I cut it out anyway, just to keep on hand.

I have had a go at incorporating the thank-you weld card with the vase of flowers frame and made the following card which I then scaned into inscscape...I hope the image is clear enough to see what I did with the basic image and shadow..I sized and cut out the font I used to layer on top of the picture in different coloured card. I used 'IM FELL FLOWERS 2' and as you can see, it didn't turn out too bad....excuse me for blowing my own trumpet here....lol.

The vase of flowers on the thank you card file does not seem to be there - I get the red X Linked Image not found picture. Could you try uploading it again? Thanks

Hi Wreed,

I was sorry to learn that you are having problems opening this file. I have uploaded it again. I have tried opening the file myself and it was working OK for me, that might be because I submitted it and it is there because it is on my computer already. Because it is a scanned image of a completed card, it may be that downloading it will cause the problem you have described. I just wanted to show a finished card from the posts I have submitted and thought the best place to scan it to would be Inkscape as this is the programme everyone on here would have.

I hope that you are now able to open this file wreed.

If anyone else has had problems locating this file from the link, click on the open option rather than the download option and see if that solves the problem, if not let me know and I will see if I can fix this.

Sorry, still doesn't work for me. I tried it as "Open with" and it didn't work, and I tried "Save to Disk" and it didn't work. I'm using Firefox. Oh well, I'm sure it's pretty! I was just going to post a copy of the image for all to see before downloading.
Maybe it's just me.

Hi Wreed,

Ok, Wreed, I too have firefox so I went and found out how I can help you view the link so here goes....I hope this works..when the window comes up asking you to 'open up' click down on this box and find your SCAL programme and open it, I am assuming that you are using 'Sure Cuts A Lot,' when you do this a box with the firefox symbol and the word downloads should pop-up on your screen or else it will go down to you start bar in which case you will need to click on it, in my box the inkscape symbol with the file name appears at the top of this box, click on open and the Inkscape programme should appear with the file image in it.

I will retrace my steps one more time to see if it works, so you may see and edited version of this post, hopefully not.

You're so sweet to help, but still no go. My download opens the svg file automatically with Inkscape. Can anybody else download and open the file?
