Help with Measurements

I found this 3D cup and saucer file on scale-files.blogspot.com. I sent an email to Paolo because I cut this out and thought I had the dimensions right. Well, No. Sent him an email asking for help, have not recieved a reply as of yet. So I am asking for help in how to make the cuts so I can put these together with the proper sizes. I have attached a copy of the completed picture. Thanks for the help. I just cannot figure this out, have a mental block.

hav eyou try using the same size for all the pieces?

group the pieces together and then size it all together and then ungroup.. In Inkscape at the top is a lock beside the measurements you can just close that lock and it saves your pieced measurements...

I did try cutting them at the same size, did not work, I will have to try Sweetness's idea. I have to learn more on Inkscape, not very familar with it. Thanks
