Cutting Problems

Post by inthePottershand »

I am trying to cut out some letters and the blade seems to be catching the paper and tearing it instead of having a clean cut. I have tried different speeds, but no luck. I have also tried different papers from card stock to thin scrapbook paper. I have checked the blade, and it looks clean??? Could it be possible I need a new blade? Is there a way to tell?
OR....could it be the font I am using? What about the cutting matt? Just checking every possibility.
Thanks in advance!

Try changing the blade and see if that helps.

Make sure your mat is sticky, too.
