Happy Birthday Embossing Folder

Post by maureenmcn »

Following up on ScrappingDeb's previous post this is just to show you what I meant by simple card using the Happy Birthday embossing folder with aperture and name. For this example I have just used some scrap paper and placed some gold mirri card behind the name but as I mentioned before you can stick wide scotch tape (or you can buy rolls of clear peel off) to the back of the aperture and then sprinkle with glitter. Of course the embossing is much better on card and you could also lightly sand the surface after embossing.

Thanks! I sometimes try to make cards just using folders I either haven't used yet! or barely used. Then I don't feel so guilty for buying them!
Yeah, gj1 will have to show us what she decides to do with that folder. ;)

This stuff is cool foil contact paper from HD...sticky on the back like that aircondition foil only it is much wider.
Thanks for getting me into my supplies. I could not find anything as I have not been doing much lately.

This look is great for a masculine card too!
