A Pen Knife card

Post by cmsmith64 »

I created this card for a friend who collects pen and pocket knives. I located a pic on the Internet, downloaded it and than printed it from I believe Abode Photoshop Elements. I created the knife using SCAL2 with some small layering. The first layer I scored a criss-cross pattern and than rubbed versamark over the entire card and added chalk over the layer so it would stay. The printed pic of the knives was to be in color, but ink cartridges going dry so I thought, this would look great. Printed the sentiment, "Have a Knife Day" and scalloped it with a scalloped punch....(thanks to my sister for the sentiment). Added a piece of old looking cord as a ribbon to the bottom right corner, and presto a birthday card for the friend.

Here is the inside of the card .... stamped a sentiment from Stampin! Up and placed on another printout of the knives.
