Question about upgrading to SCAL 2 and Gypsy

Post by canadianscrapper »

I still have SCAL 1 and thought of getting 2 but didn't because I was afraid it might interfere with how my Gypsy might work. I actually haven't used SCAL since buying the Gypsy and would like to use it again. I see all the commotion about no longer being able to use Cricut with SCAL 3 and SCAL2 is no longer available.

Does anyone know if updating the latest firmware for the Cricut/Gypsy would hamper my use in SCAL2 OR vice versa - that is - IF I can get my hands on SCAL 2 lol!

THANKS!!

Lisa

If you haven't downloaded SCAL2 at any time you can't get it anymore.. SCAL 3 does not support any Provo Craft machines..

I saw someone post that some online companies may have it while supplies last so if updates don't mess up the software or the software doesn't mess up my Cricut / Gypsy I would like to try and get a copy. :)
