Nice Paper Toys Mascot

Post by jasenj1 »

I found a great site Nice Paper Toys. I think I could spend the rest of my Cricutting life translating all the great paper toy cut files into SCAL cut files!

To test out SCAL's new print and cut capabilities, I traced the mascot in Inkscape & turned it into a SCUT2 file. It turned out pretty good. When I print & cut, I had a bit of a vertical offset (1/8"), but horizontally things seem pretty spot on across the page.

I still think the "print cut lines, cut on white, paste cut-outs on cut lines, reprint textures" method is most accurate. But at least we can do it all from within SCAL now.
