Scroll SVG

Post by UH60Family »

I really would like to find a scroll svg that I can add to a stencil I am making. I found one I like, but I'm not sure how to turn it into a SVG. I have figured out how to make an individual object a SVG, but this image is on a page with multiple images. I would like the scroll at the very top. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That is a fairly easy thing to do, once you know how!!
Save the jpg image to your hard drive. Open SCAL2. Under your file menu select Trace Image, select Browse and then select the saved jpg, select OK and it will open up as a traced image in SCAL. Play with the settings in the Trace Image box if it doesn't look right. Once you get it looking right, select the whole image and under Path select Break Apart. This will seperate all of the pieces. Delete the ones you don't need. Select the portion you want. Under path, hit Simplify. This will delete the extra nodes. Easy as that. Here it is.
