tornado picture

Post by cmmiller99 »

On Father's Day our town was hit with what the experts called a 100 year storm and we had 2 tornadoes run through town. Amazingly, no one was killed but it wiped out many businesses and damaged thousands of homes. My husband's co-worker is wanting a tile made for her sister whose business was destroyed and she wants a picture of a tornado on the tile. I am not finding any luck looking for a tornado svg file that would work. I thought I would check here for some help in case anyone had a tornado svg they could share or point me to the right direction.

Thanks!

Try this link:

http://www.clker.com/clipart-64030.html

I opened the file and the pieces need to be welded (union) together. Hope this helps.

That's the one and only one I found when searching the Internet earlier! It may work out alright I was hoping there were more out there to look at! I will try and test cut out to see how it will work for the rest of the sign and tile. Thank you for helping!

Did you search for tornado clipart? I know there's always a copyright issue to worry about, but maybe one of these might work. Good luck finding what you're looking for.

I did find a couple tornado pictures that may work by looking for tornado warning signs and tracing the image off of it. I also found this picture that I really like but when I try to trace it in SCAL I don't think it will cut very well as the top of it the black lines are not solid - I don't want a thousand little dots. I'm not sure how to clean this up so that it cuts good. Any pointers? I really appreciate all of the help! I do have ink space but have not figured out how to use it yet - I have tried some tutorials and for some reason I fail every time! : (

I feel like I'm on a personal mission. I tend to be a little obsessive. Anyway, I tried to get rid of some of the speckles, but I still think this tornado needs a lot of work. I think simplifying it any more will detract from the original design. It might also be hard to cut and weed. I'm no expert so I'll just post the file and hopefully it might help.
