Help please - tree Frog

Post by stampingcaz »

My son has a decorate your bike competition for school. Decorating bikes with a theme countries of the world. I thought the rain forests would be a good one. I want to cut leaves and tree frogs and other things and I found this image.

I would love for someone to sort it so I can cut the main frog body in one colour, the eyes in another and the tongue in another. But I would also like to learn how to do it for myself.
So can anyone point me in the right direction to teach me how to make a outline into a filled shape of different colours, split it ect ect

Thanks in advance
Caz

I traced the image by gray scale, which I have a tutorial on my blog for (http://jamielanedesigns.blogspot.com/p/ ... grays.html). I broke it down by 5 scans rather than the 8 shown in my tutorial.

I created a shadow base and an upper layer for the frog (both green) and then there are two eyeball pieces (light gray), mouth/tounge area (red), two pupil pieces (black), inside of mouth area (black).

Hope it works for you!
