Cutting multiple parts

Hello, I feel silly asking this but the old saying "if you don't ask"

I downloaded Someones beautiful butterfly and it needs different colours cut. How do I cut different colours in one cut
Or how do you do it.

It's not a silly question!

You can 'see' where your cuts will be when looking at the virtual mat on SCAL. Just cut appropriate sized pieces of your paper that will cover those sames areas on your 'real' mat according to the colors needed in those areas.
