I am having so many issues with this program. It jumbles all up when I am trying to do Letters and it blacks out and it scrambles all up. Is anyone wlse having this problem? How can I talk to someone about this? Can anyone help me understand what is going on. I have projects to do and this is nerve wrecking. Does Make the cut do the same thing?

I've always found SCAL to be very easy, but it does take playing around with to get the hang of. Could your font be the problem? Some fonts don't shadow very well.... What specifically are you trying to do and what's the font your using. A screen shot would also be helpful for others to see the problem and help you out. Good luck!

Don't know about MTC but if you can be more specific re your problem maybe we can help. What jumbles up and black out? Are you creating in SCAL or INK?

Sounds like it is freezing up on you. What version are you using?

It is freezing up on me. and when i am doing a project it jumbles all up like there are 2 screens and the the icons are black and i have to look for them with the mouse. Sounds like i am the only one with this problem I have to shut the program down and open it again all the time. very frustrating when doing a project I have to get out. A;so another ???? how can I find and open a scut file it wont let me open them I have gone to import and to my open browse and nothing they ae not there. but I have them in my pictures file. HELP PLEASE

you not the only one really only mine just freezes up and i cant even work on a project for more than 3 min it just freezes up i get so mad i give up and i have updated the scal also thought it woul fix the problem it didnt at all still the same problem. im not using mac either and im thinking it has something to do with vista progroms because im reading alo of people saying people are having trouble with vista i dunno maybe im wrong but im having alot of problems iwth scal.

Mine will "stop responding" in the midst of working on a project an I will have to shut it down. Very frustrating.

The newest version has been freezing up on me also. It usually happens after I have been working on something for a long time.

you dont get these problems with MTC, I only get them with scal, stopped using it for awhile, and tried again today and nothing changed. Everytime there is an update, it doesnt work right.Mtc is a dream to learn, and updates are always, forever free...no updates are released unless everything works correctly.
Give it a try you wont be sorry.........
