Transfer tape size?

I think I may invest in some transfer tape. I see many get the R Tape, but was wondering what size you find yourself using the most?

i have purchased the 6" width.

If I have a large 12" X 12+" design, I then put two strips down.

or if i have one line of vinyl of say 1"x5" then I just need a little strip of about 2" off of the roll.

If you go to Oracal.com you can request up to 5 samples and one of those can be for transfer tape and they will send you a 6" wide sample that is 10 yards long. That way you can try it out and see if you like that size. You don't even have to pay shipping. It comes UPS right to your door. What a great service.

How long does it take to get your sample? I ordered a sample when you first posted this and I still haven't received anything.

I got my samples in about 1 week. They didn't amount to much though.
I got the chart,951M (metallic) and 5700 reflective film.

A while back American Biltrite sent me some Transfer Rite Ultra clear transfer
tape.They sent a 25 yard spool of 6" and 24". I like the clear,but use the paper
Aplitape most of the time.
