I separated the colors when I posted my svg...then I can use scraps of colors in different areas of the mat to cut out the design.

how do you seperate the colors? I am thinking of doing the newer generation people on his invites and using the rest around the area for favors and decorations.

U can either color the parts in using the paint bucket in inkscape or what I do is use the breakapart feature and color each part...

Here is one I found on the internet. I have downloaded inkscape, but need to learn how to use it. Anyhelp with these would be so appreciated. I apologize for being a pain. I am uploaded another svg too.

here's the second one. I am thinking of using this or the other one on the invites and then using the various ones you all have found and created, as part of his decorations, favors and more.

No response... ok, here's the Birthday Cake one! The car will be next, as long as my toddler doesn't wake up yet. :-)
When you "break" this SVG in SCAL, you can remove the boxes. I just put them there for reference (separating colors). And you might need to draw the balloon strings with black pen, and put dots of white in their eyes (too small to cut anyway). The white/light blue parts are ALL light blue on the SVG for easy viewing.

Here's the Birthday car! You'll want to add the white dots in their eyes with a pen. On the SVG, each color has its own box, and you can delete the box in SCAL when you "break" this SVG. The boxes are for reference.
