Has Craftedge ever responded.....
to anyone's concerns and frustrations regarding the newest update? Do I dare update for lack of customer service?

Customer service for scal is fantastic. If you email them, they will get right back to you. They are very helpful, and incredibly quick.
P.S. Not so sure about the update, I have it, haven't tried it yet, but will be soon. (But new computer w/ Windows 7 too so who knows but hopefully all will go well.) But craftedge usually tries to fix any bugs as quickly as they can, as long as they know about them.

Since Monday I have received only 2 responses from Craftedge so I personally wouldn't say that they are timely by any means. My issues have not been worked out and my other 2 e-mails have not been responded to. I am very disappointed and won't upgrade until I get answers that it will be fixed.

My responses, were like 5 minutes after I emailed them.
But that was about a year ago, maybe now they are too busy trying to keep up with MTC. All that programming and figuring things out and fixing bugs has to be time consuming.
Just a theory.
But I am sure they will get back to you Craftedge has always cared about their customers.

kksmom - I have read about the problems you are having through many posts throughout the board and am sorry that you aren't getting the service you expect.
I too have had good experience with their customer service - I have always had a response the next business day.

When I upgraded my SCAL2.011 version I got a response from them within 10 minutes and they had the problem fixed... I've never had problems with them responding quickly..

I sent them an email because I am having problem cutting small fonts, and they actually never get back with me ...

I sent two emails yesterday and got a quick response to my questions both times.

Craft Edge has always responded to my emails very quickly as well and have always been very helpful. I have been very happy with their service.
