"Checking Mat"

Wow, am I ever an amateur! I just bought SCAL 2.0 for my MAC and I've never been able to get it to cut. The program stops at "Checking Mat" and that's all she wrote. I've tried unplugging and plugging the machine back in, but that doesn't work either. I hope someone will have pity on a newbie. Please!

When that happened to me I just rebooted and it was fine. I am using a PC though, still it can't hurt to try.

I had a very similar problem when I upgraded to SCAL2 for my Mac. After a couple of emails with support (very quick response btw), they suggested I upgrade my E's firmware to 2.34. That solved my problem. HTH!!
