Help Issues Bring Things into SCAL

Post by dolanqt »

These don't show up to cut the way I would like. Advice?

Thanks!

On your snowflake the nodes in the center of the flake are not connected. On the boarder it might have something to do the the groupings. Depending on which scal you have.

I'm guessing that you are using Inkscape 0.47? If you are, then you need to use any of the Path operations in the section with Path/Union and Path/Difference to make a file SCAL will cut correctly. I opened it up in Ink47 and used Path/Union, then it imported into SCAL2 correctly.

Another good idea is to set your Inkscape default doc to your preferred units (inch or mm) and mat size so that you can create your artwork at the size you want to cut it at. Dan99 has a good tut on how to do this. http://dan99.blogspot.com/2009/01/video ... capes.html
