I'm sure there's a fix for this. I use downloaded fonts all the time with my SCAL software so we just need to figure out where the glitch is with your computer.

First off, lets make sure the font is installed on your computer. Go to your word processing program and open a new document. Click on the drop down box for the fonts and see if the one you downloaded is showing there. If it is, select it and try typing something on your document. If that works ok then you know the font was installed properly.

If it isn't showing in your word processing program then the font is not installed correctly. Here's a link to a site with step by step instructions for using fonts with Windows XP and it shows a computer screen with each step in the process so it's easy to follow along:

Try that and let me know what happens.

As far as the SVG files your looking for, there are a ton of them posted on this site.

Here's the link:

To use the files to cut, open your Sure Cuts A Lot program and "IMPORT" the SVG file.

To use the files in the section of this board called SCUT, you would use the "OPEN PROJECT" command. The SCUT files are different than SVG files so you need to use the correct command to open and use them.

Here's the link to the SCUT files:

Hope that helps....

Is it just one font, or all of them that you have tried? If it is just one font, try a different one. Some fonts just aren't made quite right and some programs won't recognize them.
