Up to last week I was able to double click on the svg files on the forum and they would give me an option to open save or cancel. It doesn't do that now. It shows up as a save or cancel option. I thought that option came from the software that was loaded on the computer, but I mush have been wrong. Has anyone else had this problem. NO big deal I just like to see what I'm putting on my hard drive before savign it.

Hi Grammy
I just went into the svg folder here and randomly selected some svg files, clicked on them and they came up with open, save, cancel options.
Are the ones you have treid to open newly created svg's or are they also some of the older ones?
Also are you running xp, vista or mac? I am on xp.
I haven't changed any settings on my computer or software with the exception with my Vista (which I hate) did one of the dreaded auto updates. It completely froze up several files for about 24 hours, Have almost worked all the bugs out now, at least I hope I did. Seems it corrupted some files I had for Paint Shop Pro and had to go delete them. NO virus just a bad corrupted files. I have been told that the auto update does funny things to your software and files, seems to slow them down, This is the first time I had a chance to experience it though.
The funny thing I can go to one our generous members blog or site and download free svgs from their sites and open them there with no problem. It seems to be only from here.
Believe it or not, I was hoping beyond hope someone here was having the same problem, I don't want any more problems with Vista.
wow my auto update completely bummed my laptop out this week too..... I'm in the UK, where are you? I had to system restore 3 times before i realised that the update was coming back through as soon as I rebooted.... grrrrr blumin' microsoft..... never had a problem with updates before though.....
