ah ha! I found something that would be helpful in another video...

when you have many pages, and some go together, like shadows, and blackout shadows etc... you can make each one on a different page and then (this is the cool part) select "preview all" on the top tool bar, and it will show all pages on one mat...

it's great to make sure everything will fit right... etc...
