im running vista and know how to get the fonts to work in sure cuts.but is there a way that i can make another folder just for the new fonts i download.instead of having to put them in with all the other fonts that come on my computer??so that they are easier to find when i want to use them for cuts??hope someone can help me with this one thak u
I am not running vista so don't know. for XP, i just keep them in a folder in my documets, and then when I want to use one, I go to the folder, and double click on the font so it comes up. Then it works in my other programs as long as it is open.
I tried to put it into my Font Thing and it won't accept it. I guess I'll try to install it and see what happens. someone told me on one of my grps. you could convert it.
I really rely on The Font Thing...even with SCAL2 because the font list is WAY TOO SMALL to see in SCAL, and I had eye surgery last year and GREAT vision. The font size is even smaller than the last, and I complained about it then. You can't even enlarge the font selection screen to see anything other than like A-D character, when using dingbats, a real pain. I think that is something that should be fixed as the program relies so heavily on font usage. (Yup, I'll repost in the correct thread for suggestions!)
