Cutting double lines

Could someone please email me privately and tell me how to fill an object in Inkscape so it won't cut double lines PLEASE. Someone helped me out a long time ago but did not tell how to do it. HELP and thank you in advance. Nancy

Well I could give you step by step in corel, lol. But basically, when you have the image up in inkscape, you can see the double line. make sure the image is "ungrouped", then click on one of the lines. It should light up the whole line, not both. (if both light up, they need to be un grouped) then use your mouse to pull one of the lines away, and you will have 2 seperate images. delete one of them, then save.
